Hi, dealer from CA. First time posting on any forum. I have a K98 I need some input on. AX 1940 with # 3 on most every part, 280 waffenamt. Looks to be correct stock with markings. perfect almost unused bore. I will post pictures if there is interest.

That is most definitely going to garner a lot of interest. As a spam deterrent, you need a couple posts before you can post pictures. Perhaps a mod will see this and grant you permission. If not, post a few times below and then let er rip!
This is the first forum I have joined. Looks like there is alot of knowledge here, hope to use some of it to identify this rifle. A friend of mine who is into k98s seems to think it is legit.
