The blade looks to be in good shape,but hard to tell from your pics. The rest of it can be worked with. Get some oil on the pommel, let it soak in it for awhile to loosen up that rust. Do not use a wire brush, sand paper or anything abrasive. Use bronze wool and a cloth to clean with. Do not let the rust build up on the cloth as it can scratch what blue is left off. Find some grips, Durkopp used wood and bakelite grips in 38, not sure where in the production run they changed. Sure some one here will know for sure. Even though the blade and scabbard do not have matching numbers its worth saving imo. As all matching bayos become harder to find, these non matching ones seem to be going up in value and collectabilty.
