All,
I believe these to be later war due to the ordinance tan paint. There is a range finder built in. Any idea what they would be used for as well as a value?

I have a pair of them, but they are black....

I think they were general issue, but I often see them pictured with vehicle crew, AFV, SP Arty. tanks, etc....

These roof prism 10x50's don't seem as common as the usual 6x30's....complete with the case they seem to go $300 and up from there....yours are a great set, with the buttom tab, and ocular cover, along with the case, it doesn't get much better than that.

Collecting German wartime binocs can be a whole separate collection in itself, lots of different types and variants...

Bino's are sort of a sideline for me, I have probably 8 different US types WWI and WWII, and German I have a pair of 6x30's, 10x50's, and a pair of the big "FlaK" bino's, 10x80...although I don't have a tripod for those....they look cool when set up on the tripod...

German bino's tend to go for high prices on eBay, so unless you have deep pockets, you have to hope to stumble upon them...I'd love to get one of the Kriegsmarine variants someday too...
