Well if it keeps only one more person who wants a 'custom' piece from butchering another original rifle it's a win in my eyes. There's really nothing much historical to save here anyway.
Of course it is Bubba had to destroy the rarest ones first. It was just last weekend at the shows of shows I saw Bubba destroy an all matching 1925 Simpson kar98b.
He also has another K98k action. It's not worked over by bubba like the svw45, but it's condition is in bad shape. Iraqi marked bcd 44, I think, it's hard to see the number.
