Zf41

It looks real to me. Serial is in proper range for CXN. The can looks real, but really only one view. Really need to see markings and strap on can. Can looks probably real. I don't know seller.

Can't help you with the seller. But the scope and mount in the pictures are original. Good luck.

100% scammer

I did more research and it’s a scammer. He pulled away once I showed him the photos From back in 2012.

So .....WARNING..... on this guy. Sergei Novikov, he is from Ukraine, the city of Zhitomir. His Nick Bandera85.

Sauer,
Are you referring to the scope can in the eBay auction as fake? Or the one in the OP?

What are the symbols?

here are two details, which we do not find in this picture

Ok what is the symbol on the right side the one on the left looks like an a triangle inside a circle!! My question is what do the symbols mean? And can the be reproduced today?

Likely you are looking at the 'hinge' makers mark. This symbol is often reproduced but often the forget an upside down 'U' hidden within that symbol - which is almost a sure way to identify a can as being legit or not - at least for zf41's.

However, in the days of yore WWII German battery boxes had the same hinge and were cheap, so there was a cottage industry of borrowing hinges and adding them to cans.
