Here is another of my auction finds. Please let me know what you think. I'll have to take better pictures once I receive the rifle.

TURKISH BRNO vz 98/22 RIFLE

Non-matching serial numbers. No import marks.
Model: vz. 98/22
Caliber / Gauge: 8x57mm IS
Barrel Length: 29.5"
Condition: Very good. Wear and oxidation. Bore is very good with some wear.

The two I have are damn fine shooters....I have one with the roller coaster rear sight
that has all Imperial German marked parts except the receiver. Yours is very nice looking.

As said, superb shooting rifles, and well crafted. The Turk 147g bandolier ammo is perfect for these.

I remember when you could get these from SOG for ~$75 back in the day. Alas, many were broken up for their unnumbered but fraktur-marked Imperial parts, and their well made actions.

The statement of 'no import marks' is dubious IMO. All of these were surplussed from the Czechs to Turkey and came to the US via CAI. It is of course possible this rifle missed the import stamp process.

Fine rifles, and somewhat scarce; I believe they only made about 60k of them before transitioning to the Vz.23/24 rifles.
