Hello Folks,
New to the forum and yup, a question for a newbie
I recently received as a gift a 1938 K98 S/243. I removed the stock for pictures of the underside of the barrel.
Am not well versed in researching parts using umlauts (nor K98's for that matter).
From what I've learned thus far, It's a 1938 Borsigwalde S/243 WaA280 manufacture (I'm probably screwing this up as I type the description)
It has "38 Do (with the umlauts) and 91" following on the barrel.
If anyone can provide more information on this, I would surely appreciate your knowledge sharing.
