Hello everyone.
I have been a member of this new K98k forum for awhile now but haven't posted.
Life and work got in the way for the last 10yrs for me.

I have in my possession a Dual manufacture F block k43 Serial Number "4696 F" that i would like to show to the community.
It is nowhere near as nice as the one Brian has but i figured you guys would like to see it anyway. I'll put them in this thread.

Rest of photos (2 of 2).

This rifle is exactly as i got it. It has been sitting in the safe for at least 10yrs. The stock has obviously been sanded and I can't make out any markings on the wood.
The inner parts of the rifle are in very good shape as I hope you can see in the Pics.

The milled bolt does have the serial # on it but is really faint

Second Lug

Ok I have a question. Was that a earlier receiver without the second lug or did duv just mill it off so their earlier style bolts and carriers would work? Just asking. I see it still has the scope rail so probably not a earlier reject receiver.

No, it was “originally” a Walther produced receiver ac45. But!, just before Walther fell, they shipped a bunch of receivers to BLM. BLM was the last manufacturer to produce the K.43’s. Walther was using single lug receivers and dual lug receivers at the time this one was shipped over to BLM for assembly. So, qve45’s and ac45’s were being assembled at BLM at the same time. That’s what makes these ac45 f blocks so cool.
