Here's a rarer one, all matching, combat warhorse. The knurled push button knobs for the rear sight are un-numbered on the bottom, I'll assume a manufacturing error. Most don't know they were serial #'d.

Nice rifle, I liked it when you bought it 12 years ago... although rifles shouldn't be seen or view upon as an investment or retirement plan, your track record could easily be used to support informed buying as a investment option once you have the foundation complete. I seriously doubt you lost money on many purchases!

I'm glad you showed the BC on this rifle, although we discussed it at the time, these are the first disassembled pictures i have of it. The pictures shows the contrast in barrel finish well, irrelevant of course, but still interesting.

*** While you have it out of the safe, take a picture of the bolt body FP/acceptance? Trends are scanty on this information.

Thats a nice one Mike really a cool rifle. Of course you have alot of cool rifles Mike.

Ahh maybe Paul is right I do need a Erfurt Stern rifle for my collection! Still need a Kar88 too!

Here you go Paul. I'm using my phone to take pics now, just as good quality as the digital camera.
