W.u.K. 1927

I picked this up at one of the MAX shows many years ago. It's mis-matched and somewhat abused but still has some redeeming qualities. Scabbard & blade are Navy property marked.

Interesting piece because of new serial with letter there, which is unusual for WuK production, possible it was later reserialed to a scabbard, but not attached here. b.r.Andy
PS what for acceptance are on the WuK piece? thanks.

Hi Andy, The marks are pretty hard to see but did the best I could. Regards, Pete

I also have a 1930 WuK. It has WaA46 acceptance stamps. Unfortunately, I think that it may have been reblued at one time.

nice one too, possible reserialed with nr.3 by refurbishment, the locking nut looks like rough mashined on surface. b.r.Andy

and one last one that has definitely been refurbished. Any thoughts about which facility did the refurbishment?

Nice refurbishment, serialed on crossguard and scabbard, facility is stamped on pommel in left of E/46, possible some HZA depot or refurbishment. Su4 Spandau
facility 4 or other 2x letter 4? Should be looked on other reworks or rifles too and compared. Some Su4 are confirmed on flashguards of 1936/37 period.b.r.Andy
