Excellent piece with Solingen designation only few tousand made in 1937 switch period from S code to full name.Congratulation. b.r.Andy

Never seen this combo before! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

I have seen a few, but I always manage to let them get away. I decided this one belonged with me. I was unpleasantly surprised the edge has been 'worked' but I might not see another for awhile.
 
Luckily was the sharpening not fullended, the piece is too rare and the blueing is origin. Even with light damage its a nice piece. b.r.Andy

I agree. It was never sharpened. The work on the edge was done to cover or remove some nicks in the edge.
