It would appear the Kaba Spezial in at least one form had very limited use as a training rifle. This is not the full stocked version. Bolt body is numbered on the main bolt body as is the receiver in the bottom of the channel - very odd locations. From the outside, no serial numbers. The barrel is marked on top "KABA SPEZIAL -SPORT-BUCHSE GES. GESCH." This one in the 2500 range. The entire front sight assembly fits inside two dovetails, also kind of unusual.
