Repo Field Gear Collector
I picked this one up a while back to go with an evolving small Czech collection. I already had a dual tone manganese phos and plum slide, but it was a 1944 and I wanted a LATE one, so I grabbed this one, thanks again to Tiger. I spotted a later one locally a few weeks ago but it had issues so this one stays. I like the mix of phosphate and strawed parts, I suppose this is simply the coincidental effect of tempering rather than an attempted final look. Look how rough the slide milling is on the bottom flats and the hammer as well! Always wanted a late phosphate 27, really happy with this one.
