Hollow back combat awards - real? How do you tell?

I've had these for a while and am interested in selling them. But, how to you guarantee they are real? I took them to the SOS and showed them to various people, but nobody would commit. Well, the Panzer badge was unanimous, it's real, but the General assault was harder for people to decide. So how do you know if they are real? I got these for free a long time ago from my father, who got them from someone he knew, so no vet provenance or anything like that. The pin on the Panzer badge is on backwards, but I was told that was done to make the medal sit closer to the uniform and fit tighter, who knows, and was told to just leave it like that. The Panzer badge is a nice bronze color (doesn't show well in these photos) and the GAB has a sliver wash. Pics to follow.

Getting old is rough, I forgot that I asked about the Bronze PAB on WAF years ago (15 years ago to be exact). "In your case, you have an original hollow PAB by the maker Karl Wurster from Markneukirchen", and evidently it's not typical to find them this nice, with all of the protective coating. So now to see if I posted the GAB.

Getting old? You should start looking to sell off the collection, flood the market with them mausers and drive the price down:laugh:
