think i may have passed on a good one today...goin back tomorrow. has anyone seen one with the serial number stamped on the bolt root like a k98 vs the handle? this rifles bolt is stamped on the root.
the different blue on the bolt threw me until i got home and read the germans blued the bolts. has the takedown disc, and serial numbers on just about everything. no german marks visible, including the takedown disc. stock not cut for k98 sling. safety EP’d
have been reading up for the past hour and i think i can evaluate the rifle now. havent seen any pix of the sn’d bolt root however
