Danzig 1912/15 Gew98

I have to agree, the pictures look original. I sometimes wonder how someone comes up with their technique, I mean trial and error could be a costly education, but if you stick with it I guess you can get good at it (hopefully he will pass this along to another so his skills do not have to be learned again and again!)

Yeah I was quite impressed Paul to say the least. I brought this rifle to the NGD show to do a trade with a friend. My buddy that has a few tables down there took one look at it and said give me a few days. I can undo what bubba did with his paint brush using tung or shellac oil. Found out my buddy has been restoring old tables and other wooden items for many years. Plus he did this for me as a favor to help out my other friend for our trade deal. He didn't charge me one penny so I owe him right now.

It was hard to let this one go but I needed room for the other Kornbusch I bought, plus I'm getting a pretty cool Kar98a later on. Were both very happy.
