    Default Gew 88 muzzle covers?

Can these still be found by chance? Never seen any for sale before. Is it even possible too find the lids for the Kar88 and Gew91 carbines as well?

    Just wondering.

They use to be impossible to find, then about a decade/15 years ago a hoard was discovered and they became common for a few years. They seem to have dried up since then, but there are a good number of G88 collectors out there, so competition is probably lively these days.

It's amazing how fast stuff disappears into collections. Probably more popular in Europe then here I would imagine.
