Upgraded my agv bayonet. This one is extremely nice, among my nicest bayonets now. Nice clear acceptances, excellent bluing , untouched screws. Beautiful blade.

Excellent piece, probably only few days used when ever, or frog was only added for a time in postwar period?, b.r.Andy
 
Can only speak from my personal experience, but have had many more nice "44pyy" pieces pass through my hands than "44agv"s. In fact, had to settle for a "43agv" and waited close to 20 years until a collector-grade '44 finally came my way (kept the '43, too)...
 
There is very little chance to upgrade that one!!!! 😳. Let me know if you tire of it so I can upgrade my example😜.
 
What a nice example. Agree with pwcosol, collectable condition 44agv are quite hard to source. You have a keeper. Congrats .....
 
Thanks guys. I’m def happy with it. Likely not to be upgraded haha.

It’s interesting to see what’s rarest by the numbers compared to what’s seen more frequently by collectors.
