Just picked up an Erfurt K98a . . . BUBBAFIED! . . . . .

Got ‘er all disassembled, EXCEPT . . . .

How-‘n-hell to you remove the stacking hook?

Got the barreled action out, and the bayonet lug off, but cannot figure how to remove the stacking rod/hook!

What’s the secret, please?

Must not have been TOO bubba-fied if it still has a stacking hook, bayo lug, etc. Wish I could help but I am still looking for a stacking hook to complete MY bubba-fied K98az. Look forward to hearing more about it. I have an additional complete one at my dealer, picking up tomorrow.

It turns off, twist it to one side and it should pull out of the slot.
