moving barrel system in BCD 43

Hi, I have a nice reworked BCD 43. I noticed that the barrel system lies somewhat loose in the stock. Hopefully it is noticeable in the pics.
- Is this harmful for the weapon or dangerous while shooting?
- How could I fix this if that his needed?
Can't get the band of to see what is happening 'inside'. Any tips on this?
Thanks for help in advance! C

Can't help on band.

On a Mosin, I would shim between lug & cross bolt. Tin snips & a tin can & the pop cans to fine tune. A dab of rubber cement between layers.

Thanks! Do you know if it is necessary to fix it, in terms of damage to the weapon, or danger shooting it?

While it won't make the rifle unsafe to shoot if the action is loose in the stock it WILL do damage to the stock. The recoil lug can get driven back and the receiver tang area of the stock crack.
