Thank you for posting these, I was unaware that there were dual tone MGs until about a week ago. Are there dual tone MG34s as well?

Late dot45 mg34’s are phosphate. Hugh Brock had a mint phosphate swj mg42 at the sos last year too.

Beautiful gun!! So was Brock’s!

These barrels could maybe be used to further disprove/persuade some that cyq remained cyq.

Wow,that MG 42 looks unissued, unfired, there are no belt marks on the feed tray.Is it a Spreewerk.

Late war MG porn.. Not only my favorite MG, probably the greatest medium MG in history but it's fabulous to look at. Love the color of the barrel shroud. Fantastic! Would you like to adopt me? :biggrin1:

I agree absolutely, and I carried an M-60 when I was in the service back in the day. Instead of just copying the design, America decided it could do better by incorporating elements of MG42 into a superior design. The result? The M-60, an absolute pig of a weapon, and relatively speaking, a very poor derivation of what was the finest medium machine gun to ever grace this earth.
