Get a picture of the backside of the side plate. Mauser started stamping the first 2 of the serial+1 on the inside sometime around 1938-39. In your case it should have a 82 stamped inside.
Did you by any chance win this? This sold for one matched mag price. I was really surprised.
I did not, I took it up to 2400 and kept getting beat by an auto bid and then someone else joined in and took it the rest of the way. Not sure if the guy with auto bid won or the other guy
Did you see the end price? Geez, how much extra will having an extra matching mag bring up the price of a Luger!?
I wonder if it was also due to the fact that the "T" block would have been just about the last block to number their mags before they went to fxo magazines. They began doing that I believe in the "U" block.
The "U" block still had numbered mags.
