Never shared this but this 43 Sauer with Feima supplied receiver really looks like a case of some OJT gone wrong. So many aspects of it are bad, to the point of rivaling a bnz45! I’m pretty sure I’ve had 2 or 3 bnz45’s that were actually nicer! I can’t quite tell what’s going on under the rear receiver bridge, a forging flaw? Or an improperly aligned broach cut, or a dull broach that gauled in the receiver or perhaps a combination? Its twice reinspected and has improperly milled areas all over. The receiver tang is narrow on one side, the bolt lug raceway has a step in it etc. The receiver code was also nearly completely scrubbed off when initially working the forging and then restamped. Just an interesting receiver to examine on a 1943. This rifle is also interesting for the fact that it was a grenade launcher rifle, clear impressions and darkening of the stock in the exact area the rear sight mounts, also what I assume is an accompanying mild crack in the wrist.
