    Default 1939 660 Steyr

    Hello Gentlemen,

    I am new here and want to share with you my new addition, fresh from the attic! Barrel drilled and welded, bolt MM... Could anybody please help with identifying the bolt and its marking?

    Looks like a Gew98 bolt in a G.29/40. Too bad the rifle has been deactivated!

    It isn't a G.29/40, I would say it's a G.12/34.

    Bolts Gewehr98, but saw service with Poland. Impossible to guess the G98 maker it came out of with these pictures, but Prussian, probably Spandau or DWM.

    Have you a picture of the right receiver acceptance? Or what is it? Eagle / WaA623 x3?

    Can the OP determine what exactly this mark is? mark on bolt knob.PNG Too bad about that brutal deact though.
