Hi

I bought this byf 42 a while ago, but just got it home due to gun license and work schedule. I'm happy with my purchase, a very decent rifle and all matching.
It came without sighthood and sling, but I do have both on stock. Earlier, I mentioned in another thread that the stock was walnut, but I remembered wrongly-
More pictures will follow when I get the time.

Looks great to my eyes with beautiful unmolested furniture. I love how MO metal finish quality is just starting to go away of some surfaces. Looks like an excellent piece.

Thanks :happy0180:

I saw it a month ago or so, as was picking up another rifle and some accessories, that I bought a little earlier,
It was not the plan that I should by another rifle that day, but when I stood with it in my hands, I just had to buy it, untotched and a real beauty in my eyes.

Very Nice Rifle overall , I like the looks of the Stock has a nice unmeshed with look .

I can understand why you were reluctant to put this rifle down. I would have purchased it if it were me !!!!!
Nice, and thanks for sharing.

Bolt

Love the byf 42s, made the year of the first of the production shortcuts. Here's my own, all matching, excellent bore, neatly hidden duffle cut, captured in Italy. It possibly saw service in North Africa and Sicily, as well.

More pictures, not as good that I want them to be, but the best I can do with my simple camera, think my wish for Xmas is a photo studio.

Thank you Dane. This is a good textbook example for our reference section. Those additional pics help for anyone wanting to know what a nice original byf 42 of this serial block looks like
