1935 Belgian all matching with modified bayonet lug

I've got to read capt41k thread from October of this year and pulled my 1935 FN rifle from the cabinet. Germaine was probably an owner at some point...

Cool rifle, I really like these. "Germaine" is a French female name. Belgium is French (Walloon) and Flemish Dutch. I've seen period pics of GIs with female names carved on their M1s and M1903s. My bet is that it was a resistance fighter's or GI's girlfriend.
 
Very neat rifle! Also, it has the extra notch added to the bayonet lug for use of a German, as well as Belgian bayonet.
 
AHH HAAA! I have been trying to figure this damn barrel band out for months, thank you! Cool rifle as well sir!



****One of these sold a couple days ago on broker on a BIN, wonder if one of y’all got it, I didn’t look at the bands close enough then to realize it was this one I have been trying to figure out.
