Okay. Thanks, I was curious to see if it had one or not. Most keel stamps are e/WaAC10 and some are e/359 like yours. I see most of them are WaAC10 stamps.

In my G/K.43 listings, there is one out there that is G.43 #2741f. Pretty close to yours.

Your question prompted me to look further at the stock. Without a external stock number, I removed the butt plate and discovered these numbers. I suppose the "44" is the date, but not sure about the "Na" or "531".

“Na” is the laminate supplier. Yes, it is a ‘44 dated stock. The other numbers following “44” are also part of the dating system of the stock.

Nice looking rifle and scope mount. Your rifle is relatively early while you scope mount is a late example. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a really nice one. How is the stock side e/359 stamp?

I wanted to bring my rifle post back to the top to clarify one thing and to ask a question.

Yes, there does appear to be a stamp on the right side of the stock with what appears to be 359 below the eagle. I failed to notice it before.

Also, there is no serial number on the stock between the grip and butt-plate. Is this a problem?

Many thanks

I was re-looking at this rifle too. I also noticed the little e/359 stamp on the right, lower butt stock area. It’s a new thing for me as I have not encountered that before. Brock never mentioned it when he owned the rifle and no mention of it in 2018 when the rifle was reported again before this post started. Not that it wasn’t there as they probably never saw it. Here’s a photo of it in case someone can help us out:

NIce rifle, interesting to see that stamp on the right side of the stock? I wonder if this is an armorers replacement stock??

It's most certainly has been replaced at some point. The rifle is a F block and the stock should be serial numbered to the rifle. Doesn't appear to be. The small e/359 on the right is not the same acceptance we see. It's smaller.
