That stock is spectacular. Imagine what you’d have to pay to get one that nice today? Just beautiful. Strange isn’t it that something so deadly is at the same time beautiful? But it is.

Nice rifle Bob! That's quite a bright red plum extractor too. They got fed some really interesting walnut.

Gorgeous stock on the original post.

The other one posted: MO, Luft, Walnut, beautiful, I think that checks all the big money boxes.

Great stocks guys! I’m a real sucker for a nicely figured one, I don’t have many but here’s my favorite chunk of lumber.

Wow that one is beautiful too! Someday I’d like to have a stock like we are seeing in my collection.

Where'd the early BSW stock show up? I'm guessing it's not part of a matching rifle? Too bad about the minor handling damages because the wood and the stamps are great.

Great looking wood. I have bought several guns over the years with beautiful wood being a big factor.

I’m curious about the full story myself but will probably never know. I bought it from a friend that is very old and he remembered buying a m/m BLM rifle with that stock on it, I bought it from him the same way. A few months later I bought some parts from him, a bsw bolt included and didn’t think anything of it. A couple days later I thought I would check the serial of that stock for the hell of it, couldn’t believe it, they matched! I went back and told him and we searched and searched through hundreds of guns but he didn’t have a bsw laying around. No telling what happened to it.
