S/42K with Armorers Replacement Stock

A nice S/42K in mostly matching condition. The metal is matching minus the extractor and the stock/ butt-plate are a nice era replacement. The handguard appears to be original and numbered to the rifle.

Beautiful piece of lumber and blueing. Not disparaging the rifle, but would an armorers stock be KM marked?
the side marking has nothing to do with the marks on the bottom.. Riechsmarine Eagle M mark is nice.. The stock was repaired above the bolt cutout possible a chip or a sporter special ? Hard to say ?
Overall the wood is stunning If it was rescued it was well worth it.. Congrats ! and great photos..

That’s a sweet piece of lumber on that one. The metal is in really nice condition as well. Really nice looking piece. It would be nice to know when that armorers stock was mated with metal and hand guard…..

Slide the rear barrel band forward and see how the wood grain color matches the hand guard.

You sold me your 43 JPS with an armory stock (Walther made stock) Jory, same deal on that one, if you recall. You can tell they’ve been together a long time.
