Does anyone know if this marking has any significance?

HJ = Hitlerjugend = Hitler Youth

Still learning. Did a little research, correct me if Im wrong!

Not sure about it, is it a 571 or 511.

If its 511, maybe the HJ from Baden bei Wien which is southwest of Vienna in Austria.
If its a 571 then Region is TIROL-VORARLBERG (Region) Schwaz (City) which is in Western Austria.

Anyone have Handbook of the Hitler-Jugend Bann Numbers and Gebiet Triangles? Would you recommend getting it for a collector of training rifles?

My Gustloff is marked Hitlerjugend Bann Tulln 510.

I believe it to be 571.
Does the mark look like it is original?
Are other rifles out there similarly marked?

Seems like I have seen this one before (several months ago), as the HJ reminded me. It seems just a bit haphazard in appearance...
