BNZ45 turd alert on GB

Reblued, drilled and tapped, and what happened to the stock?

Agreed and yes. Very obvious in the pic of the receiver bridge. As for the stock, shellacked and then sat over a fireplace in a smoking establishment or household?

Oh geez it's Dragom. I didn't even notice when I looked at the pics.

ok, almost done with the first karabiner book (of volume II) this week.

i get the rebluing, that's painfully obvious.

what is drilled and tapped? what am i looking at? I looked at the receiver side in one pic and the roll mark in another. can you point me in a direction?

hey i am here to learn.

That's for a scope post-war. They are removed, filled and blended. You can see them in this pic of the receiver bridge. View attachment 195107

yup, was reading that chapter today on high and low turret scopes. I get it. thanks

why would anyone take the turret off? (unless it was broken or something). I would think that would be a "better turd story as a sniper" than getting rid of it.

thanks again!

Not a turret. It was drilled and tapped for a Weaver base by Bubba post war.
