Default c block svwMB with unmarked stock

    Hello everyone,

I would like to have your opinion on this rifle I came accross.
There's only these pictures to go on, as it is not mine.

When I compare it to the references in the Kriegsmodell vol. III book, everything looks great at first glance.
It has a final acceptance stamp on the top of the receiver, but the stock seems to be completely unmarked.

    Any thoughts on this?

Also, would you say this is 100% German manufactured (and finalised?) before the French came in?

    Thank you

It seems to falls into the French range but is unmarked.... I'd buy it and figure it out later if the price is reasonable.

100% German and very late. Technically it should have the stock acceptance but this late we havenít seen enough unfinished/ nearly finished guns to have a complete picture, all components and finishes are German so that is what it is even without the final stock acceptance. Is there a small e/135 on the keel?

Yeah, like me. As late as it gets for German production and very cool. I have a c block action very similar to this one but lacking the top final and in need of a stock.
WTB: Rough milled, blued, unnumbered floor plate as found on late MO rifles. Unnumbered MO bands, both KM and standard type, MO KM stocks including an unaccepted one, MO bands and stock 5897, upper band 0643

I suddenly got exited when I saw what appears to be part of the wing in the encircled part.

I contacted the owner to ask for any markings on the stock (keel included). He responded that he couldn't see any.
Maybe it's still there, and he worked from memory to respond to me, but ...
