    Default Need help with information on bayonet and frog

    I have a Mundlos marked bayonet with 38 serial number 2251 has a eagle with 245 and another eagle 3A24A the scabbard has 3956 and 44CVL can anyone tell me who made. the frog has 0/0184/0008 and then 17 at the bottom can you tell me who made it with this information

    Your bayonet was made by Mundlos AG in 1938. The scabbard was made by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum und Cie. (WKC) in 1944. The code on the frog is a R.B.Nr and sadly this maker remains unidentified.

    thank you I also have another one a brown handles with ASW with scales no date the scabbard P.Weyersberg 1939 serial number 802 on bayonet it has the number 8964 on the guard and the same number is on the scabbard part that hold the frog

    As mentioned by others Mundlos 1938 production on first have WaA243 proofs, posiible not good visible, the second one is a yugoslavian postwar rework with new serials on parts. b.r.Andy
