I have 4 P38s and one Luger ( the Luger will soon belong to another forum member ) a PP, all war time / WaA stamped of course.

But I really dig the German "occupation" pistols.
I have two WaA stamped CZ-27s, ( one 1939 and one FNH )
a Browning High Power ( 1941 If I remember right )
A Polish VIZ-35,

Id like to add some more to the collection. What should I look for next ?

Im kind of thinking a French MAB thats Nazi marked, Im not a gigantic fan of the Femaru but I feel like it would fill a hole in such a collection. Maybe a Browning 1922 ?

Anything else I have overlooked ?

I like the early Femarus.

There are waffenampted Star Bs, Astras, and if you are feeling really crazy, Kongsburg Colts. I think the small Astra 300 is a cool pistol. Some of them are not waffenampted, but just appear in a certain serial number range. The French m1935a would be a cool one to have too. Of course the 4UT Berettas as well.

Yeah, you forgot the Beretta m34 and m35, that’s what you should get. No Waffenamt though.

I guess I shouldn’t say I’m not a fan of the Femaru, just that it doesn’t have a super appealing appearance to it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

As I was typing up my list I forgot to mention that I own a very clean 4UT marked beretta 1935 that I picked up at SOS in 2018

The 1922 Browning several different variants of occupation production, as does the High Power, two different contract date Femaru's...so you can build quite a nice collection of the various variants...

I quite love the way the Femaru looks...I have both a Hungarian Army issues, and a 1943 contract German one...

I’ve held one Kongsberg Colt in my life.
The only way I’ll be able to afford it is if the owner leaves it to me in his will

Second the vote for a FN1922. Lots of them are German police issue, like my Railway Police one from the US Zone.

I love the Axis Pistols and have been collecting them for several years now. Like the K-98s, you have to watch for those extra stamps on the guns especially when you get into the high end stuff.
I've grown to appreciate the Femaru pistols. Here's a 1941 with the original holster and two matching numbered magazines. Those mags are numbered in the corner, people some times miss the numbers.

CZ 38 pistol. I've got an original holster for this also.

I ended up adding a Nazi marked Browning 1922 to the collection the other weekend.
I paid $350 for it while most of the ones at SOS were in the 450-550 range.
It’s got some bluing loss, Shows it’s age and signs of use and the nose cap / front sight piece doesn’t match the other serial numbers but it’s a great example that didn’t break the bank.
And it shoots good too.

I also picked up a nice Mauser HSC that is waa135 stamped ( third variation Army issue )

So I filled two holes in the german pistol collection.

Just a few pics of the additions

Don't forget the Astra 600 in 9mm Luger. The first 10,500 delivered and carry the Waff.

The Astra 300 was mentioned above, with most of them being in .380ACP and are stamped with a waff. But there were approx 22,000 of them in 7,65mm, accepted and issued, but not Waff marked. So,,,,,,,,,you'll need one of each calibre!

And speaking of Astras, the 400 in 9mm Largo was contracted for as well. But about 6,000 of them as I recall.
