I don't wish to turn the OP's thread into a shitfight. I also didn't join this forum to get into rows with folk. I joined to further my knowledge and share with like-minded folk. Maybe I didn't express myself very well in my response to your suggestion that the guy that topped himself should've shot a load of cops instead. We, as you know, now face losing a lot of our firearms, and uncertain times ahead because of the knee-jerk reactions of the bitch(I'll refrain from using the 'c' word on here) we have as PM. We are doing what we can to limit the severity of the legislation, and retain as much as we can. One way of helping this is to come across as law-abiding citizens, advocating going out in a blaze of glory and killing cops is not something that will help our cause, thankfully it's not way it's done here. Please bear in mind our countries have quite different cultures, what fits one, does not neccessarily fit the other, if that makes us, or me, appear unbrave to you, then so be it.

Semis do not need to be registered as such here, we have lost the lot, except rimfires with magazines of 10 or less, and shotguns with 5 or less magazine capacity. we are to hold them until such time as they are to be handed in, switched to collectors licences, or other such exemptions. I am as angered as many other owners.

I am most certainly not a commie, that's for fucken sure. But I've been called worse. I have found myself, on many an occaision, defending your country when all around me are ridiculing it and ranting about how "thick yanks are".

Yes we have a serious meth issue, most countries have serious drug issues these days. If we ever had the luxury of a referendum here to see if the death penalty could be bought back in, not only would I be the 1st at the polling station, but my CV would be 1st in too.

I guess I'm saying we live in different cultures, hell we probably agree on most things, but how we carry them out may be different. I plan on touring more of your country when I can, I would be brave enough to buy you a beer and sit and chat about shit, but I don't think you'd be into that.

    Anyways gentlemen, enjoy your day.

They're a good bunch here, I'm English spend most of my life in California and work in Hollywood so they have three reasons to dislike me (or my politics, which are actually non-existent) too, but, stick it out there's a lot to be learned on the site and on a one-on-one basis they're all good cats, there's a tremendous amount of valuable collecting experience here - also, I have had 100% positive experiences buying and selling to members here, which speaks volumes, too.
Politics doesn't translate easily to Internet forum chatter, and what might be a colorful conversation face-to-face with laughter and joking can quickly feel personal and aggressive on line.

    Back to the MP44's -

Do any of the Scandinavian members know what happened to these two rifles?

I was on vacation last week, and while I saw the post I didn't get a chance to respond, now that I'm back home, I will...see my points below in red...

In my book when Tyranny becomes law, people should fight the tyrants, especially when they are going to kill you anyway. The guy had a picture posted on Facebook with him holding a helmet, and airsoft gun, and for those crimes, your Government sentenced him to death...I'd have no problem if he took a bunch out with him

We, as you know, now face losing a lot of our firearms, and uncertain times ahead because of the knee-jerk reactions of the bitch(I'll refrain from using the 'c' word on here) we have as PM.It doesn't bother me at all...she is a flaming Commie cunt of a whore, and I hope she rots in hell with the rest of her ilk

We are doing what we can to limit the severity of the legislation, and retain as much as we can. One way of helping this is to come across as law-abiding citizens, advocating going out in a blaze of glory and killing cops is not something that will help our cause, thankfully it's not way it's done here. Thats your mistake, because kneeling before the tyrant only emboldens the tyrant. You will loose everything without a fight. I bet Australia gets more gun control now that there was a mass shooting there...but wait, thats umpossible, Australia has such forward thinkimg and progressive gun control!

Please bear in mind our countries have quite different cultures, what fits one, does not neccessarily fit the other, if that makes us, or me, appear unbrave to you, then so be it. Meh, if thats the way it is there, well, then I guess enjoy the shackles, not trying to be a dick, but again, bowing before a tyrant in an appearance of subservience will not solve the problem. It may stave it off for a while, but believe it, the goal of all totalitarian governments its to completely disarm the people, and how do you do that...incrementalism. Oh, we don't want to take your guns, we just want you to register them, so we know who has what, where...for safety. Oh, we don't want to take your guns, but we need to ban all semi-autos...for safety....sorry guns are just too dangerous, turn them all in...after all, the police and government are here to protect you, you don't need guns.....Now just get aboard these train cars, we are taking you to a nice summer camp...but showers first, in caze of lice and such, you know for safety.

Semis do not need to be registered as such here, we have lost the lot, except rimfires with magazines of 10 or less, and shotguns with 5 or less magazine capacity. we are to hold them until such time as they are to be handed in, switched to collectors licences, or other such exemptions. I am as angered as many other owners.Maybe they aren't "registered" but you do have to hold a firearms license...do they specify what guns you own? I thought anyone who owned a "military" type semi-auto with "high-cap" mags had to have the on their license or registered? Point is, the gov knows who has them and where they are...we have a saying...Registration ALWAYS leads to confiscation

I am most certainly not a commie, that's for fucken sure. But I've been called worse. I have found myself, on many an occaision, defending your country when all around me are ridiculing it and ranting about how "thick yanks are".

If we ever had the luxury of a referendum here to see if the death penalty could be bought back in, not only would I be the 1st at the polling station, but my CV would be 1st in too.Again, your doper of a PM is a drug advocate from what I read, and why not, a population dulled and pacified by drugs won't fight back

I guess I'm saying we live in different cultures, hell we probably agree on most things, but how we carry them out may be different. I plan on touring more of your country when I can, I would be brave enough to buy you a beer and sit and chat about shit, but I don't think you'd be into that.I'd be perfectly fine having a beer with you and talking, I think NZ and Australia are (were) awesome...I have a NZ marked Club Pattern Long Tom, and love my Aussie Enfields, I had an all Aussie (except upper receiver) L1A1, which I loved, but sadly sold off. As you say, maybe different cultures, but I figured Kiwi's to put up a bit more fight to that commie whore

    Anyways gentlemen, enjoy your day.
I just thought it strange for your first post on this forum to introduce yourself in this thread, and say of me, and I quote..."but that comment of yours "he should have taken a few out with him" disturbs me, and is why I am glad we do have an immigration system in place, to prevent such moronic scumbags from moving here."

Now call me a moronic scumbag for advocating people fight for their God given rights against tyranny, which is what we did during our Revolutionary War, where people chose to become "traitors" and risked death and the loss of everything to fight tyranny, and I am going to respond in kind.

From what I have read, it looks doubtful you will be able to keep any semi-auto's, but I don't know...if you do, you certainly will have to beg the King for permission, and jump through a lot of hoops.

All because in typical Commie fashion, the tyrants either choose not, or just plain refuse to recognize its the bat shit crazy asshole who committed the crime that should be blamed, and not the tool he used. Bat shit crazy people will find a way to carry out their plans, one wat or another. And there will always be bat shit crazy people, yet progressives would rather they be free, as opposed to being locked in the loony bin. Of course we all know the total disarming of the populace is the real endgame, so they can practice true totalitarianism.

We narrowly escaped having a leftist loon in charge, and if Trump loses, we are done as a country too, except for those who would fight the tyranny. Once the left fully takes charge, thats it at this point. There will be no discussion, compromise, or rational thought, full speed to Socialism and cementing a permanent hegemony. But there will be people in this country who will engage arms against them, just by percentages alone. There are enough out there whose families are grown and gone, are alone, and have no more fucks to give. Many of them military...Those who fight may not win, but of the left brings it to a fight, it will be bloody and not easy. No one knows how they will react of the bell rings, it is only when one is forced to cross that Rubicon that one will know, but there will be a fight, and at some point if our government sends police to start confiscating, there will be blood. Of course the leftist media will portray them as terrorists, thugs, and criminals, but the tyrants and their lap dogs always do.

I wish you guys luck, but it appears your country has generally made their choice, so you have my sympathy.

All well said. As I often like to remind my family, most people in our society today can't even comprehend how the actions of our Founding Fathers would be viewed through the lens of our modern biased mainstream media if they undertook the same actions that led up to our revolution. Jefferson, Madison, Adams and rest would today be labeled as right-wing extremists and domestic terrorists. People who question the meaning and intent of the 2nd amendment are clueless about what had just transpired when it was written. In the revolutionary era private citizens owned weapons of war equal to the those held by the gov't they fought against, including cannons and state of the art naval warships. They had just overthrown their government in armed rebellion. Of course they intended to protect the peoples' right to do so again.

I accept for a first post on a forum, that it was not good. Hastily typed out whilst at work, but no excuse. It was not meant as an attack on you, but is poorly worded and I can see now that it appears that way.

I must apologise unreservedly to you for that.
