2 MP44's just uncovered in Norway

mowzerluvr

Hey Buddy, is that an E/4 in your pocket?
These were just confiscated by the Norwegian govt. and are slated for deactivation. Unsure the codes/sn's but may be able to find out.

Can‘t they be handed over to someone who is allowed to own fully automatic guns and not destroy them?

Unsure. Was told by my friend who lives there if they were not registered by May of last year they are illegal. Kind of like our 1968 amnesty. But, their demil process leaves them whole but welds up any moving part and weld seals the barrel.

I agree. Norway gave it's final amnesty for unregistered firearms last May. This guy had plenty of time to do so. It sealed the fate of these two.

Mmmm, not to put too fine a point on it, but (I have a small penis) registration, and (I have a small penis) amnesty, and (I have a small penis) socialist gun hating governments.

NYS and the Baby Killer Cuomo passed its "Assault Weapons" registration scheme, and got less than 5% compliance...never register shite. It was such an embarrassment the state refused to release the numbers until sued under a FOIA request. Word has it Cuomo was enraged when he realized 95% of gun owners in NYS gave him the middle finger.

Collectors in New Zealand still import full auto guns,so if we can get them exported from Norway,i believe they could be sent here if the price was ok.There are 100/200+ mp44s in NZ[population 5 million] and the sell for around $4000 USD Most were imported from East Germany about 1970 He are 2 I have had lately.

Were said to be all original, not sure as I know little about these guns. Did get word today they both have been fully demilled. But good news to those living in countries that CAN import these. There are a good many of these in Norway, legally registered and word is that they sell there for $2k-3k USD. as of now. Just need to find a source there or do some leg work to find one.

AJS, your collection is outstanding, in terms of quality and number. If that's what it's like in Kiwi land, I should try to retire there. Although immigration policy would probably forbid it. ;)

Maybe they just have really strong vetting process? You know so they're not overrun with shitbags? All I've seen it's always beautiful.

Any word on whats happening to these classes of weapons now with the "military" style weapons confiscation and ban in NZ?

Well, going back to my post about (I have a small penis) registration....the chickens have come home to roost in NZ....every (legal) gun there is registered...and now the kiwi police know exactly where to go to round them up, which apparently has started, even though they have no authority to do so yet.

Registration ALWAYS leads to confiscation.

A Russian father was already killed because a week or so ago his son posted a pic on FB with him (the son) holding an airsoft gun and Russian helmet...some nosy piece of shite reported it, and they went after the guy. He killed himself rather than going back to jail...he should have taken a few out with him.

Thats the only way to end this BS, one way or another. Some will have no reason not to resist and will try to shoot as many in the face as they can when they come for theur guns.

Remember, only 3% of Colonists favored action over chains in the 1770's...

I live in New Zealand and will Keep you posted on what the new firearms law will be.Nothing has happened yet as the proposed law change has to be passed by Parliament. There may be a buy back on Hi power semi auto fifles.Ordinary rifles are not registered at this stage, the owner has to have a firearms licence.
