dot 44--New photos

Just picked this one up. I understand it's Czech made by Brunn. All parts are number matching, the bolt cocking piece and firing pin are not numbered but have a "o" sort of mark I do not recognize. The stock has a small 34 stamped on the left side--which coincidentally are the middle two digits of the 4 digit serial number. Barrel is waffenamt, DZ with what look like the Czech crest on the left rear. Sling is old, but I'm not thinking it's original or period correct.

Any input would be appreciated.

Just disassembled it--the stock and handguard serial numbers match, as does the trigger. That's all the numbers I can find.

German made, in Czech after being annexed. The barrels is likely dot & E/63, and marked with DZ = the lot number... bolt looks bad. Better pics would help...

I'm trying to learn, what makes the bolt look bad? Pictures are updated. It is the absence of some parts numbered, or the "o" sort of marks the OP mentioned?

..bolt looks bad.

Unfortunately I have to agree with BiO. For the OPs question we learn what the bolt root and the font should look like and when you see something that just isn't it prompts you to look deeper. I can almost see the ghost of the original numbers slightly above the new stamped numbers. The other bolt parts not being numbered as we'd expect and what looks like someone nugged out the scallop in the safety adds more information.

There are some subtle things to see/ read in this suggesting the bolt is bad. The numbers (font) look incorrect, and the poster mentions there are no sn on the cocking piece and f. pin. (and safety too?). The "looking incorrect" is really hard to discern as the pic is from a distance, and upside down.

I would like to know what letter block this rifle is from, as the trigger guards are usually not numbered either on a dot '44.... but this may be a super early example (like a v-, x-block).

The wood looks right, and the sling has a chance (2 or 3 holes?)

More detailed & head-on pics of the serials would reveal more about what the OP has,,,
