G24 t QUESTION

For a 24(t) Rudi? It's simply the same slip on / screw hood as on a Vz24, though I don't know if they were issued that way by the Germans. You can find one of those for about $20. Some have the rampant lion Czech inspection stamped on the front.
 
Thanks for the info guys. Funny the way some of these prices are. Hoods for G33/40s and G/K43s are $200 or more, these are cheap. Always good to learn more about our hobby.
 
Rudi, there is a thread here on period pics of Vz.24s / modifieds in use. Go check them out concerning the use of the sight protector in use or not used by German troops. The Vz.24 was widely produced from 1924 and reworked and sold into the 1950s so there are plenty of these. Look for ones with original blue finish.
 
Bought this one today at the show Craig 👍 looks unmodified the best I can tell, at least the obvious features, but still cool. I can scan it later if anyone wants better clarity.
