K98 s/42 1938

Hello,

I've found this 1938 S/42. I wanted some opinions on the value of this rifle. The weapon is all matching metal down to the screws, bands, and everything else. However, the stock is not matching, but untouched. Supposedly a bringback rifle, but I know the old adage, buy the gun, not the story.

Here are photos of the rifle, wondering if perhaps the stock would have been a field replacement. Odd to see matching bands and an all matching rifle with a mismatching stock.

There is also a "P" marking on the wrist of the stock.
