    Default $7000 g33/40

Did anyone here see that carbine sell on GunBroker for over $7,000? Not only did it have the wrong stock for first-year production but the seller never showed pictures of the bolt or the stock markings. But apparently the rifle was worth well over $7,000 to somebody.

You can't overpay, only buy too soon. That 33/40 will be worth that one day. If current trends continue that day is in approximately 23-25 years.

Knew it would be Gunbroker. Two 98ks went for $5000 apiece not far back.

GunBroker surprise me again and again. It's not a G33/40, but three days ago a mismatching Sauer & Sohn "147 1940" got sold there for $2,276.00.
