Hello,

I was able to locate a orginal German ww2 k43 stock from 1944 (non duel lug). Anyway I am just curious if it would fit my duel lug K43 ac45? Some say yes as the receiver is cut out for it. Others say no as the barrel is fatter on these k43's thoughts

I may be wrong, but I believe the recoil lugs are in a different position.

Correct, on a dual lug rifle, the recoil lug has been moved forward a bit...i.e. a single lug stock will not fit.

Do you mind giving me the serial # for your duel lug ac45 k43 as I do a serial number study including as much info. as I can get on all ac45 dated G/K 43’s.
Thanks, Rick
