2nd Variation SS/RSHA PPK

The K98 buying has died down significantly in the last year. I guess that’s what happens when you are looking for something specific. I’ve got into PPKs and this is my newest. Rare variation here issued to the Reich Main Security Office. There is a book out that is a compilation of the issue papers for these guns that names the guns be serial number and to whom they were issued. The record is incomplete, however, and this one isn’t listed. The source docs reside in the national archives. The muzzle number is what differentiates this from your common commercial variant.

It seems like you can still get a nice pre-war/wartime commercial variant for about $800 if you look around.

Nice find Nate... These and some of the others are interesting as you can still find these sold as wartime commercial . Not everyone is aware of the SS and Luft contract pistols.
Pick up every PPk and PP you see in a case to look...

Just like Every Carcano or French rifle could have a Waffenampt doubling or tripling its value is some cases.. The searchers and diggers find these treasures leave no stone unturned .
