Default Sturmgewehr 44 Pouch Real of Fake?

Saw this throw the window of a closed antique shop for $ 150, any chance it is real? It's open Tuesday and can talk a friend into picking it up for me if you guys have a good feeling on it. Thanks

That was my first thought as well but I kept my mouth shut as I'm no expert.
Some P38 "experts" are yo-yo's who, for some reason lost on me, can't or won't accept the truth when it's staring them in the face.

The real deal is in 4 figures per pouch. "If the deal is to good to be true..... I'd be very wary of them being German WWII mfg. Look long and hard. Ask them how they know what they are.

I'd love to find some either Czech or East German ones myself!

Czech pouches are identical to the late war mattress covers. I have always suspected that so call Czech repro pouches were in fact post war ones

East German mp-44 pouches I have only seen two both were offered over 4k

If I was the OP I would offer $75 as it's a half of a set

With your guys insight I passed on getting my friend to pick it up. I'll keep that favor in the bank for the time being. If it is still there next week I'll take pictures and post them and maybe offer $75 sprat. Thanks for your help all.
