Hello. New here. Have a specific question. 1937 erma, a bit above the trigger is a strange bolt. Old rc, century arms import. Typical mix number. Not a bad shooter. Just could never make sense of the weird cross drilled and bolted stock. Any insight? 3A8C9503-82F5-4009-9B80-4F38DFEE8DB8.jpg

typical postwar addition to reinforce stock at it's weakest point against cracking due to recoil.

Thanks for the info. Picked up a byf 44. Seems matching. Will put it up to see how the collective picks it apart. Info is good. Was always more into Luger P08, but kind of fell into a few k98. Same nuances, different format. Thanks for replying.
