    Default S/42 38 rifle today

I just brought this home this afternoon. I apologize for the so so pictures but it was snowing outdoors. I hate shooting pictures in doors.
I noticed that the second band was flipped while shooting the pictures. Some cash and a trade got me this one. I am in need of a cleaning rod if anyone's got a correct extra to sell. I just love these early ones and truly appreciate all that I have learned form you guys in the last couple of years.

Very nice find, thank you for sharing it. Just goes to show there are still nice un-messed with early rifles out there to be found!

Great looking rifle!! Grew up in Michigan and realized today how much my blood has thinned from being in the South. We had a cold spell (it was 55 today) and I had to wear a sweatshirt. I remember growing up and wearing a t-shirt and short when it hit 45 in the spring (LOL). Thank you for sharing!!

Fantastic example! Nice condition with some honest wear.

    Beautiful MO! Nice rifle!
In thanks for you all in the forums, I offer this, albeit small:
If anyone has any questions regarding garage doors and openers, feel free to ask. Been working on them for 25 years.
