Hello! New to the forum. Fantastic info! Have been posting up a few firearms for info. Bought this Chilean Mauser for $100 (best deal ever) It smelled so bad I left it in the garage. Like roadkill and feet. Stripped and soaked it acetone. Ten hours of scrubbing and cleaning later....From what I gather, it’s a 308 conversion with a likely Springfield 30’06 barrel that was trimmed down. Matching numbers and groups well. What info do you have? I like it! Just noted that I put this in the wrong section. My apologies.
