Irecently came across an old article I had kept from a shotguns news 2012 on nazi sniper rifles by Peter Kokalis. He gives a brief history before getting into the nazi sniper rifles.
And states that the turrets mounts actually originated with a Argentinien montage (Argentinean mount) which I have seen documented elsewhere.
But my question is where did the side rail mounts come from Schweden montage (Swedish mount) I have seen alot of Swedish rifles with a similar mount and the m 41 rifle has a variation so where and when did this type of mount originate?
