That is the best, what a small part of history, left totally undisturbed till you found it. Was it used ie as a flare or dumped during a retreat?

It was live! i did find three with an magnet.ammo dump after the War ended lots stuff dumped in lakes

Yep, parachute flare you could launch from the rifle grenade launcher...

Very cool, and as a pyrotechnic you could have it live here, not sure what the rules are in Europe...

No, I found it on an ammunition show.
