Gew98 Alidade on Fleabay

Saw this of Fleabay this a.m. Since it is not an auction but BIN it is up for grabs. Back in the day when I had a cup launcher for my Gew98s, would have been ecstatic to have ever seen or had a shot at one of these:

Very nice condition.
Have two of them. But one with no mount.
Official designation was: Erhöhungsmesser 1913. Used with the Schiessgestell 1915, not with the cup launcher.

Well, then guess I would not have needed it after all! I noted the one for sale has a steel spring underneath, so surmise it supplied tension to prevent the alidade from moving when slid onto the Gew98 rsb.
