Collection of k98 pouches

I have a small collection of German patrontashen from WW2. Have not collecting for these long, and regrets that I did not start before when the prices were good. Have realized that the numbers and variants of these are endless, but the main goal is to find matching pairs for the collection. The latter has proved difficult, and so far I have only managed to make one such pair. Add some pictures of mine, and would love to see yours k98 pouches. Regards Arvid

My only matching pair is made by Joseph Mole in 1938. I also have an almost matching pair were both are stamped with letter code "hud", but one is made in 1941 and the other in 1942.

Very nice selection of pouches. Trying to find/make a matching set by both maker and condition is quite a task! Think I have about eight pouches or so total and my one set of minty/matching ones turned out to be early post WW2! Once had both a KM & SS accepted pouch, but let them go to guys who specialized in these organizations. Perhaps one of the most difficult pouches to find a mate for are those mid-1930s vintage ones with the reddish "oxblood" finish. Had a beaut for many years until I gave up trying to find another. Think I eventually saw one or two others.

Matching pair

Hello Gents! Was lucky to get this pair of matching k98 ammo pouches this weekend. Are any of you familiar with which manufacturer used this RBNr code? All help and input are appreciated. Regards Arvid
